Also played defensive back as a sophomore, making 25 tackles and three interceptions. First-team 2011 Washington Class 4A all-state running back by Associated Press, gained 1,293 rushing yards on 177 attempts with 14 touchdowns as senior in 2011 despite missing three games due to injury, also caught five passes n 2011 for 69 yards and one TD and completed all three of his passes for 58 yards and another TD. First-team all-area running back by Everett Herald - and finished second in voting for all-area offensive player of the year.  Selected for U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio.

College Bio: (2012): Enjoyed an exceptional freshman campaign, starting all 13 games. Named to Freshman All-America Team by both Football Writers Association of America and CBS Sports.com, selected a second-team Freshman All-American by Sporting News and Scout.com, recorded 58 tackles (fifth on the team), 37 of which were solo, with two tackles for loss. Ranked third on the Irish with two interceptions.  Opened the season with five tackles against Navy (Sept. 1), combined with teammate Louis Nix III for half of a sack of quarterback Robert Marve in the win over Purdue (Sept. 8), picked off first career pass against Michigan (Sept. 22), and returned the ball a career-long 31 yards, was the second freshman to log an interception during the game (Nicky Baratti), finished with six tackles in the Shamrock Series game against Miami (Oct. 6), credited with seven total tackles against Stanford (Oct. 13), six unassisted stops, including one for a loss, in the victory over BYU (Oct. 20),career-high nine tackles (six unassisted) and a half tackle for loss in the triumph at Oklahoma (Oct. 27), recorded five total tackles against Pittsburgh (Nov. 3) ... ended the regular season with three tackles and a crucial interception of signal caller Max Wittek in Irish territory during the win at USC (Nov. 24), tallied eight tackles in BCS National Championship Game vs. Alabama.

High SchoolGraduated from Interlake High School in Bellevue in 2012. Played four seasons of football for the Saints. Named state Class 2A Player of the Year as a senior. Set the Washington state rushing record (2,769 yards). Ran for 432 yards and five touchdowns in top prep performance. Was a first-team all-Kingco selection. Also starred in track and field, competing predominantly in the 100- and 200-meter dashes.

CollegeSigned a National Letter of Intent with the Wildcats in February 2012. Played in nine games in 2012 and finished as the team’s second-leading rusher. Recorded two 100-yard rushing games. Ran for 192 yards on 29 carries and three touchdowns in the season finale against Dixie State. Also broke the century mark in his Tomlinson Stadium debut against Simon Fraser, racking up 134 yards on 23 carries. Despite missing a game and a half with an injury in 2013, was No. 2 in the conference in rushing, third in both all-purpose yardage (129.0) and yards per rush, fifth in touchdowns and eighth in scoring (5.4 ppg). Named a GNAC Offensive Player of the Week for the final week of the season after rushing for 226 yards on 24 carries, including a 55-yard touchdown scamper, at Dixie State. Named to the 2013 GNAC All-Conference first team offense. Ranked No. 17 in the nation, averaging 121.3 yards rushing per game. Only the 12th player in CWU football history to run for more than 1,000 yards in a season. Heading into 2014, No. 9 on the school’s career rushing list. Selected to the 2014 Beyond Sports Network GNAC Preseason All Conference team. Also a sprinter on the Wildcat track and field team.

High School: Juanita H.S, Class of 2010.  Four-year letter winner in football for the Rebels.  As a SOPHOMORE, earned All-King County honors at running back...as a JUNIOR, earned All-King County honors after rushing for 1,658 yards and 16 touchdowns...Seattle Times White Chip prospect as a SENIOR...All-State selection at defensive back...first-team All-KingCo 3A selection at both running back and defensive back...finished career with 3,682 rushing yards and 39 touchdowns...named JHS Most Valuable Player three times...lettered three times in wrestling and twice in track and field.

College: Appeared in nine games, totaling 90 yards on 17 carries, during freshman season at CWU. Transferred to Washington State University, 2011-2012.  At Washington State ... rushed 35 times for 157 yards and a team-high seven touchdowns ... caught nine passes for 38 yards ... tallied 41 yards on six carries and two touchdowns against Idaho ... named Scout Team Offensive Player of the Year during the 2012 season as a redshirt.

 Dexter Moetului

College: Eastern Washington University, 2007-2011

High School Bio Was a first team selection as a defensive lineman on the Associated Press 4A All-State team as selected by sports editors and writers. Earned first team 3A All-State honors as a defensive lineman from WashingtonPreps.com. Selected to play in the 4A/3A East-West All-Star football game. He was also named by the Seattle Times on its “Star Times” All-Area team and as a “White Chip” selection as one of the top 100 prospects in the state of Washington. He was the KingCo 3A Lineman of the Year after finishing with 13 sacks. He was also a first team all-league defensive lineman and a second team all-league tight end.  His team finished 10-2 – the best record in school history – and reached the quarterfinals of the State 3A Playoffs. Also wrestled at Mount Si where he was KingCo 3A champion as a senior and junior and finished third at the 2006 State 3A Championships.

 

 

Wes Potter

High School Bio: Three year letter winner for coach Hoover Hopkins at Interlakes HS ... Was an All-State honoree as a tight end following his senior year when he had 10 catches for 350 yards and a touchdown. Recorded 50 tackles as a senior with 20 tackles for loss, was also a two-year letter winner in wrestling, earning team MVP honors after posting a 25-5 record as a senior to place 12th in the state. Also lettered in track & field.

 

 

Michael Allan

Height/Weight: 6'6 / 255 lbs.

College: Whitman College, 2002-2006

High School Bio: Three year letter winner for coach Hoover Hopkins at Interlake High School.

College BioThree-year starter awarded All-Conference honors since his sophomore campaign. Posted career numbers of 53 catches for 1,100 yds. and 9 Td's.  100 catches for 900 yds. and  6 Td's.  Junior totals included 36 catches for 693 yds. and 15 Td's.  as a senior when he received All-America notice.  

Pro Bio: Drafted in the 231st pick of the 7th round by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2007.  He became the first Whitworth football player to be drafted into the NFL since Eric Kelley was drafted by the Detroit Lions in 1972 NFL Draft. Allan also became the first Division III player drafted into the NFL since 2003.  He was cut from the Chiefs on August 31, 2008.  Michael was signed by the Seattle Seahawks on May 19, 2010. In order for the move to be done, the Seahawks released TE Patrick Devenny.  He was then released by the Seahawks on June 9, 2010.
